How to block adult sites on iPhone and iPad
Set up iPhone & iPad
- 1Open this page in Safari on the iPhone or iPad, tap Download profile, then Allow.
- 2Open Settings and tap Profile Downloaded near the top (or General → VPN & Device Management).
- 3Tap Install, enter your passcode, and tap Install again.
- 4Come back to zentab.live/protect and tap Test this device.
Strongest: add Apple's built-in filter too
- 1Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions, and switch it on.
- 2App Store, Media, Web & Games → Web Content → Limit Adult Websites.
Covers Safari, Chrome and every other browser and app, including Private Browsing.
Turn on a Screen Time passcode and let someone you trust type it in, so you don't know it. Only they can switch Limit Adult Websites off.
Check that it worked
Open zentab.live/protect on this device and tap Test this device. It checks that known adult sites are unreachable without opening or showing anything. Sign in with your Gmail first and the result appears on your dashboard, next to your other devices.
Frequently asked questions
Is the profile safe to install?
It contains one setting: which DNS server the device uses. It can't read your messages, see your screen or install apps, and you can remove it anytime in Settings → General → VPN & Device Management.
Does it work in Private Browsing?
Yes. The filter works below the browser, so private tabs get the same answer as normal ones.
Do I need both the profile and Screen Time?
The profile alone blocks adult sites everywhere. Screen Time adds a lock: with a passcode someone else holds, you can't switch the filter off in a weak moment.
Protect Chrome on your computer too
ZenTab blocks adult sites in Chrome from the moment you install it. Pro adds urge challenges, SafeSearch everywhere and a 30-minute lock, so a weak moment passes before you can switch it off.
