How to block adult sites on Android
Set up Android
- 1Open Settings → Network & internet. On Samsung: Connections → More connection settings.
- 2Tap Private DNS → Private DNS provider hostname.
- 3Paste the hostname below and tap Save.
- 4Open zentab.live/protect on the phone and tap Test this device.

Does Private DNS slow my phone down?
Not noticeably. A DNS lookup happens once per site, and the filter's servers answer in milliseconds. Pages load as they did before.
Does it work on mobile data, or only Wi-Fi?
Both. Private DNS is a phone-wide setting, so it applies on every Wi-Fi network and on mobile data.
Can apps like Reddit or X still show adult content?
The filter blocks adult domains, so images and videos hosted on adult sites won't load inside apps either. Content hosted on a general platform's own servers can still appear, so pair it with that app's own sensitive-content setting.
