Terms of Service

ZenTab helps you focus. It blocks the sites you choose, hides distracting feeds, runs focus sessions, plays ambient sounds and tracks your focus streak. It works without an account. An optional account syncs your progress and lets you use the web dashboard.

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You sign in with Google. Keep your Google account safe; you're responsible for what happens under your ZenTab account.
• Usernames must not impersonate anyone or be offensive. We may change or remove a username that breaks this rule.
• You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard.

• Free is free forever and includes the core features.
• Free trial. New installs get 7 days of Pro for free. No card is needed, and when it ends ZenTab simply goes back to the free plan. You're never charged automatically.
• Pro is a one-time payment of US$10 (local taxes may be added at checkout). It is not a subscription. It unlocks Pro features for your account, or for the browsers where you activate your license key, for as long as ZenTab is offered.

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, who act as the merchant of record. Their terms also apply to the purchase.

We may add, change or remove features over time. If we ever discontinue ZenTab, the extension will keep working with the features it has, and we'll give at least 30 days' notice before any online services such as sync shut down.

If Pro isn't right for you, email hello@zentab.live within 14 days of your purchase from the email you paid with, and we'll refund you in full. No questions asked. Refunds go back to your original payment method, and Pro is removed from the account once the refund is processed. This doesn't limit any right to a refund that you have under the law where you live.

Please don't:

• Share, sell or publish license keys, or use one key beyond what it was sold for.
• Try to get Pro without paying, for example by tampering with the extension or our servers.
• Attack, overload, scrape or try to break into ZenTab's services or other people's accounts.
• Use ZenTab to monitor or control someone else's device without their knowledge and consent.
• Use ZenTab for anything illegal.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

ZenTab is a self-control tool, not a security product. Blocking runs inside Chrome, so it can be turned off by anyone who can change the browser's settings or uninstall the extension, and it doesn't cover other browsers or apps.

The adult-content shield, SafeSearch enforcement and the Protect every device setup block a large number of adult sites, but no filter catches everything. New sites appear every day, and some content can get through. Device protection relies on CleanBrowsing, a third-party service we don't control. Please don't rely on ZenTab as the only safeguard for children or anyone vulnerable.

Your tasks, intentions, settings and songs are yours. You give us permission to store and sync the data you choose to sync, only so we can provide ZenTab to you. Only add songs you have the right to use; songs stay on your device and are never uploaded.

ZenTab's name, logo, design and code belong to us. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use ZenTab. They don't transfer any ownership. Third-party services we link to are governed by their own terms.

ZenTab is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free or that your data will never be lost. Keep your own export if your data matters to you.

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost data, lost productivity or lost profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$10 if that is more. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute comes up, please email us first; most things can be sorted out quickly. If not, the courts of India will have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer, you also keep any protections given by the laws of the country where you live.

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll tell signed-in users by email or in the extension. If you keep using ZenTab after a change, you accept the new terms. Questions? Email hello@zentab.live.
